The services presented on the website https://happyrivieratours.fr are offered by Happy Riviera Tours.

This website sells passenger transport, road transport, and tourism services for groups and individuals.

Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to any use of the website and to the sale of the services offered on it.

Conditions of Use of the Site

The customer must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering into a contract, and able to use this website in accordance with these general conditions. The customer is financially responsible for use of the website both on their own behalf and on behalf of any third party, including minors.

Users are advised to read these General Terms and Conditions carefully. They are accessible by hyperlink at the bottom of every page of the site, and users are advised to download and/or print them and keep a copy.

Services Offered

Shared tours, private tours, and transfers in chauffeur-driven 8-seat and 3-seat vehicles.

Payment Terms

Payment is made by credit card when the order is placed and is charged immediately.

Orders

Ordering these services does not require a quotation. An order is a reservation made and validated by the user on happyrivieratours.fr.

To place an order, the customer selects a service and adds it to the basket. The customer may delete or modify it before validating the order and accepting these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Tour departures are confirmed for a minimum of two people. If only one person is scheduled for a tour, Happy Riviera Tours reserves the right to cancel and refund the customer.

Prices are stated per person for shared tours and per vehicle for private tours and transfers. Prices are stated in euros.

All service prices include taxes, duties, and service fees. Service fees are the costs of the services ordered by the customer.

Services, meals, visits, and gratuities are not included unless expressly stated in the description.

Prices include fuel, motorway tolls, certain parking charges, and driver costs.

Discounts may not be combined with any other form of discount.

If the customer requests to extend the tour with additional hours, or modifies the route, the extra amount must be paid directly on site during the service.

Once the basket has been validated, the order is deemed final and payment by the customer becomes due under these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Payment is made directly when the order is placed by providing the customer’s bank card number through a secure payment system.

Happy Riviera Tours will send confirmation and the main elements of the customer’s order by email as soon as possible. All information contained in that email constitutes the agreement between the customer and Happy Riviera Tours.

The customer must check the information contained in the order. If there are errors, they may be reported through the contact form. They cannot be disputed more than 24 hours after the service.

If the customer does not receive a confirmation email, the customer must contact Happy Riviera Tours through the contact page.

Any request for information, clarification, or order follow-up must be addressed to Happy Riviera Tours customer service by post, via the contact page, or by telephone using the details above.

Performance of Services

Tours are carried out by van or car from point A to various destinations and back to point A.

Pick-up and drop-off are provided at the customer’s place of residence. Happy Riviera Tours may also agree a different address for the departure and return point.

The maximum waiting time for the driver in the event of customer delay is 15 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After that period, either the delay will be deducted from the tour duration or the tour will be cancelled without refund.

Departure and return times may vary due to traffic conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.

Happy Riviera Tours cannot be held liable for delays caused by heavy traffic, bad weather, customer delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.

The customer must present the booking confirmation to the driver at pick-up.

Our drivers are not required to accompany customers on tourist sites or inside historic monuments and museums.

All personal items left in a vehicle remain entirely the responsibility of the customer, and Happy Riviera Tours cannot be held liable in the event of loss or theft.

Cancellation & Right of Withdrawal

The customer is informed that, pursuant to Article L. 121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, all services offered on the website by Happy Riviera Tours are not subject to the right of withdrawal provided for in Articles L. 121-20 et seq. of the Consumer Code concerning distance selling.

Accordingly, services ordered on the website are subject exclusively to the cancellation and modification conditions set out in these General Terms and Conditions.

The customer may cancel the order at least 24 hours before the booking. If cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before, the customer must pay 20% of the service price. On the day of the service, the customer must pay the full amount.

The customer may change the departure location by making an explicit request through the contact page.

Complaint Procedure

Complaints must be submitted in writing only, through the contact page of happyrivieratours.fr.

Happy Riviera Tours will verify the accuracy of the facts and respond to the customer within one week.

Complaints will be accepted only if Happy Riviera Tours was informed of the difficulties encountered during the performance of the service. In that case, Happy Riviera Tours will attempt to remedy the situation in order to limit the damage.

Refund Procedure

The maximum refund period is two weeks.

No service that has already been provided may be used as grounds to request a full refund.

Liability & Guarantees

Happy Riviera Tours does not guarantee that the website will be free of anomalies, errors, or bugs, that they can be corrected, that the website will operate without interruption or breakdown, or that it is compatible with any specific hardware or configuration other than those expressly mentioned by Happy Riviera Tours.

Happy Riviera Tours is in no event liable for malfunctions attributable to third-party software.

Under no circumstances is Happy Riviera Tours liable for any foreseeable or unforeseeable material or non-material damage, including loss of profits or loss of opportunity, resulting from the total or partial inability to use the website.

Finally, since Happy Riviera Tours cannot control all websites linked by hyperlink, which exist only to facilitate the user’s search, Happy Riviera Tours is in no event liable for their content.

The customer acknowledges having verified that the computer configuration used does not contain any viruses and is in perfect working order.

Processing of Personal Data

Personal data are used only for the sale and performance of Happy Riviera Tours services, or by a third-party partner involved in providing the service.

Customers’ personal data are collected for the sale of services.

The following information may be requested: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, hotel name, or place of residence. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is handled.

Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.

Any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts.

Failing an amicable settlement of a complaint relating to transport services, only Happy Riviera Tours may be brought before the courts.
